The Lenten Adventure Participant Forum

Hello, Adventurers!

I do appreciate the rambunctious nature of this adventure group very much! *smlle* That is as it should be. I hope everyone will participate fully in the activities each day. It is imperative that we try to understand, as fully as possible, the circumstances under which the "world" of about 5 B.C. - 28 A.D. finds itself as our adventure begins. You are helping, from the perspective of your characters, to do just that. Please also remember that one of the guiding principles of the adventure is that we are investigators. We may well be called upon, or find things to do that are against our nature, or even our beliefs. It is important that we allow Dad to do His Will through us, however. I urge you to participate fully in ALL activities--NOT because I type them, but because Dad has ordained them. What you finally choose to do is between you and Dad, and I, nor anyone else, has any business there.

We have added several new adventurers within the past 24 hours, thanks to a generous donation from one of our fellow participants that has allowed us to sponsor the adventure Home Page on WDC. More than 100 times, our ad has been "clicked", and the adventure pages have been seen. What a terrific gift!

I think I need to tell you that this tells me something. I hope it tells you something as well. Before I tell you that, let me also tell you that I made an abbreviated version of our Special Worship Service completely public, for the general consumption of the WDC community. According to my report, that page has been seen more than 500 times since Sunday at noon, when the "Full" version went live!

But, what this tells me is that there are many WDC members wondering. They are wondering about the adventure, and the adventurers. They are each a very special gift to us as a group from our loving Dad, and that is how I hope you will see, and interact with them. Your badges are saying something. It is for you and I to decide what the fabulous artwork from our friend, team member and faithful adventurer Legerdemaim will say to our larger community. Your writings, reviews, and any other interaction in the community will be noted. That's not so different than where we are in the adventure right now, either, is it? Someone is being noticed! Is it you?

For the entire team, we are just crazy happy that you have joined us, and committed to your daily involvement in the adventure. We look forward to your daily input and full participation in the adventure.

HOWEVER!

I DO need you to email me with your choice of character which you will portray for the adventure. I have to insure that there are no duplicate characters. I would advise having a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice at this point. I will let you know which one is available, and assign you that character (barring your dissent, of course). The adventure is live, and moving along. While we currently are gathered near the River Jordan, we are leaving footprints in the desert sands.

It's an awesome group! Thank you all so very much for allowing Dad to invade our "right now" by helping us understand more fully the challenges He had to face "back then".
