If you look at the rules it shows you how. Also, there is the writing101 FAQ page the site practically shoves down new members' throats. But here is how to set up a b-item link:

1) Create the entry as a static item and save it in your portfolio.
2) Make note of the item number in your portfolio list.
3) To post a b-item link, simply type " { bitem:###### } " into your link, replacing the #'s with the portfolio item number from step 2 and removing all spaces within the brackets.
4) Click Preview Post, just to make sure it pasted correctly; then click Submit Post
