Oddly enough, I have that problem in my novels. I'm not big on description and tend to do limited amounts during my first drafts. The YA novel I'm rewriting at the moment ended at 23k for the first draft and I've had to work on more than doubling the overall word count in the second draft. I can write series and what not but I am definitely an underwriter instead of overwriter.
