A warm welcome to our newbies; come meet new and not-so-new members of Writing.Com! |
Hey Suzy-Q, welcome to the site again! I believe I was one of the people that first welcomed you to the site. We can't have you finding it not encouraging! But as the post above me says, if this site is not for you, feel free to move on. Until then, let me tell you some of the amazing things about this site! First off, I'll admit it. This site is big, I know. When I first got an account I was shocked with how big it was and it was kinda scary. Why would I want to put my work out here for all these people to read and tell me that I am not good enough? I know the feeling, but then I did it. At first I did not get too many reviews, then I became active. The way people work here on Writing.com, is really simple. You are active and spend time reviewing others and then they will want to review you. So some of my advice to you would be take some time to review other work as well, everyone loves getting reviews, it's not just you! :) Also, putting yourself out here on the forum is a GREAT way to have some people notice. Being active is a key point. But because I saw you had a poem out there that you need some reviews on, I have a suggestion to you. Look on the left side of the page, click on Things To Do and Read, and scroll down until you see Review Forums. Click on that and then put in the item number of your poem and you will start getting more reviews. If you have any questions, because I know I covered a lot let me know. :) I hope you find the site more encouraging and I think you need some more time to get used to it. Have an amazing day and Merry Christmas! ~Angel ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
