I Set My NaNoNovel Aside--For Now!

This novel has become ragged, disjointed, and a major stress-creating frustration for me. It will be written, by me. But, not right now. December is given to The Annual Advent Adventure, and I am some 30,000 words behind on this novel. Most of them are in there, somewhere. I just cannot seem to bring myself to find them. I find myself in the extremely rare postion of truly not liking this novel at the moment, and I do not want to feel that way about any "child".

So, I reluctantly, but with palpable relief, set "Turner Falls" aside for the time being. Maybe next time. My thanks to my supporters and fellow NaNoers, and congratulate all who have passed the winning mark. As you well know, this is a major achievement and victory over many things. You have done very well.
