Hi Brit, congrats for being a first-timer! Best advice: Think You Can!

I only hit 30K my first year because it felt impossible. For the past several years, I've hit 50 and often while doing a different writing project at the same time (not counting those words). A couple of years ago, I hit 97K. It's easier with practice and does wonders for your writing career.
