Convince me to read a book and win GPs! |
I read "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery in high school and still love it. It's a French classic, but is easy enough to find in English here in the US. It's meant as a children's book, so it's a quick, easy read and has lots of nice watercolor illustrations. In the book, a pilot crashes in the Sahara Desert where he meets a young prince from a Asteroid B-612. The Little Prince tells the pilot about his travels through the universe and the many people he met there, including a fox that has been "tamed", a tippler, and my favorite, the king with no subjects. |
