Veritas , I'm so glad you answered this question. My initial thought when I read it was, "You have GOT to be kidding me!"

Tap, some of the hardest work of getting a novel published is finding the right publishers, querying, sending in manuscripts, waiting, revising, revising some more . . .

If you were to get lucky and have a book of "crap" accepted for publication, I guarantee you you'd have to work twice as hard to get to the end result.
