"Magic realism" I think is "magic happening in normal life". It also seems to be connected somehow to South America, from the articles I've read.

Nobody can define slipstream for me. It's aggravating, since I'm trying to write it. The closest I can come is some articles insisting slipstream is "the fiction of feeling very strange". Which is no help at all.

I'm all ears if someone can give me better definitions!
