I know a little bit about Magical Realism, those TV shows seem to fit that genre. Except, a TV show is a sub-genre of a screen play, I think. So, that would be mixed genres.
I don't know anything about slipstream. However, some Sci-Fi has used the word in one form or another. There is a post-apocalyptic movie that used it as its title. I thought it was cool.
It is also a form of hyper-drive in the Sci-Fi TV series "Andromeda." That's about all I know about it.
