Now take each noun and make them collective

a bunch of people - crowd
a lot of birds - flock
tons of sheep - herd
lots and lots of books (this one may make you think) – library, or trove
many cars for sale - fleet
a bunch of flowers - bouquet

Assignment 2

Read each sentence carefully and change the common noun/subject to something more specific. Can be proper, collective, compound, or abstract.

1. The baby slept all night. – The content baby slept all night.
2. The car in the driveway was blue. – The Mercedes in the driveway was blue.
3. The flowers were in a vase. – The beautiful flowers were in the vase
4. If there is enough time, the team will try and score. – If there is enough time, the basketball team will try and score.
5. With no one around, the man went dumpster diving. – With no one around, the desperate man went dumpster diving.
