Great comment, Steve. Our last name is Davisson and I have Swedish ancestry as well, so I can identify with your ideas.

There are runes in eastern Oklahoma - I saw them myself. I wish we knew more about the Vikings time in the New World. That was during the Medieval Warming Period when they could grow grapes in Newfoundland.
