Exactly, Sherry, I feel the same way about dialogue. I didn't know better at one time and corrected dialogue. I learned fast not to do that. The same way with English or other such authors. I didn't know better and never though anything of how they spell some words differently. I, just merrily, went along my way and corrected their what I thought was poor spelling and found out later how wrong I was. We learn one way or the other. I was so surprised when someone finally brought it to my attention. I was a bit embarrased, too, as you might very well imagine.
