DISCUSSION TOPIC
In your writing, how much do you rely on the use of adverbs and adjectives rather than searching for specific nouns and verbs?

Adverbs are my nemesis. I am constantly overusing them. I honestly don’t understand why adverbs are frowned upon, yet adjectives are viewed in a more positive way.

Yet, I do search both my brain and the thesaurus for the “perfect” word. I enjoy words and attempt to use the optimal term when writing.
