She did, however, have a credit card. 8. The guest list had Naomi, Charles, Michelle, Jackie, and Paula on it. 9. He, of course, went home 10. The cute, annoying, little girl kept sticking her tongue out at us on the plane. 11. The question was, was anyone going to the party on Friday night? 12. "No matter where you are," said her mother, "you are never far from home." 13. "What year did Bach write his first composition?" asked the music teacher. 14. The blue car parked in the driveway belongs to my brother.(correct) 15. The red car, which was just washed, belongs to my father. Part 2: Since I just did a different assignment about the Internet, I think I will stick to that topic for this assignment as well.(absolute phrase) To me,(introductory) the Internet can be a good or bad thing,(pause) depending on how you look at it. I generally get on, check my email on several different site, play on some gaming site, then play on Gaia, then do any homework that requires the Internet, post fanfics, and more.(series) I enjoy doing all of this. Most of the time, (introductory)I have fun on the Internet. However, there are bad things.(interjection) I worry about people hacking into my gaia account,(conjunction) or that I spend way too much time on the Internet and not enough time in real life. Its just recently that I started to talk to people and making some friends at school. For a long time, (introductory) people though that I was mean,(pause) and are just now saying that I'm really not. I still spend time on the internet each day,(conjunction) but I also spend time talking with my friends and family now too. The internet does have both its good and bad points, but if your careful, (adverbial) it can be a good tool to use for various things. |
