It's not too late to start. All you need is the desire to compete a novel and the commitment to put in a little extra work and you'll be fine. It's only the beginning of November so you're not that far behind.

And, a lot of people (me included) aren't keeping their Nano novels online, so no WDC file is needed to store your work
