Beyond The Water's Edge - CLOSED

I had the idea in my head for a long time now. I was mulling over our interpretations of other and past cultures and what they would think if they caught a glimpse of ours. Then came the cave prompt which just begged for a break-in-the-time-continuum story. Yet, I was dis-satisfied. I saw a piece on the internet about Cave paintings and voila - this story poured out! I would have set it in my own culture if I could, to talk of something I knew well, but what I read was of another culture altogether, tho still 'Indian". I beg forgiveness in advance for any inaccuracy, I have tried to keep out unwanted flourish or descriptions of what I do not know.
