2008 Short Fiction Competition

Hehe, couldn't miss the chance to try winning the MB I'd love to have most.

Hm, dunno if this story really fits, but it's a detective story and the case is quite twisted and sick and annoying and sad.

I think I stayed under the 2008 word limit, but since I edited a bit I'm not sure; the WC should be around 2.000 words. Apropos: the story can appear a bit rough, but that's due to the word limit.
