I think, though, that we agreed at some point that because demons have various innate powers, and because the first vampire transformed himself through the torture and consumption of a demon, that vampiric scientist also inherited a couple demonic powers. One he passed onto Laziik---the shadow wielding thing that appears in Helena's profile and in my first or second addition---and the other he passed onto Evrae. Only I don't recall what it was. I do, however, remember there being suggestions.

Anyway... if vampires DON'T have any kind of spontaneous magic, I need to account for a reason why Helena is able to wield shadows. Or, alternately (and this is my preference, since I actually like vampires having no magic, now that things have developed a bit more), we can simply pretend the very brief reference to shadow wielding in that early post never happened, hehe.

Btw... it's 3am. I'm just returning from a much longer night than I expected with my boyfriend. The vast majority of my addition is complete---all freakin' 7 pages of it o.O---but I have yet to write the most interesting part: Helena going apeshit on Rell's captors.

So....two options. 1) I get Helena into the room where Rell is, then let Crimz cover the actual feeding frenzy. 2) I try to write the rest and post tomorrow (today) at work, and if that fails, I finish the post around 2:30-3pm my time when I get off of work. So......... Crimz.... do you WANT to write the scene wherein Helena crashes the little Thieves' Guild party? Or would you prefer I write it? Btw, I don't mind writing it; I just don't want to dominate this bit of plotline, especially when my addition is already a bit longer than I anticipated...
