I could have sworn we've already talked about this, but I can't for the life of me find the post(s). Does anyone remember what we decided should be the power of vampires of Evrae's line? Laziik's line (to which Helena belongs) can mess around with shadows, but I can't recall what Evrae's line is supposed to do.

If nobody can remember... what do you all---and Richard in particular---think of lightning? If Krusniks are basically altered vampires, perhaps they're altered EVRAE vampires (makes more sense than Laziik vampires, because those types are unlikely to cooperate in an endeavor to FIGHT vampires), and the lightning wielding Alber's able to use comes from Evrae-blood somewhere way back in the Krusnik lineage?
