Well, I'm from the south so i write with an accent and it's usually not proper to a lot of people .But i did pay a bit of attention to my english teacher in high school(He was actually really hot!) and it's not supposed to be proper to end a sentence with a prep. Microsoft Word spell check suggests the same thing. I get it all the time. To me, since it's supposed to be realist talking, and we really do use prepositions at the end of our sentences, I don't see why we shouldn't in dialogue as well. I don't see why it would be a big deal to any publishing companies as long as the sentence made sense but don't quote me on it. I haven't been published yet so i don't know how picky they are about things like that.
