As for what dramatic event changed Sanehet...well, you'll find out (if you continue reading). It's tantamont to this entire novel. Sanehet fed, but without killing (very important to know). But there's more to that tale yet. I'm just soooo mean.

You'll notice that Aiden is a little different in these opening chapters (until about the double digit chapters). He doesn't like Palladin and that's evident, and he seems to pick arguments all over the place. He's frustrated, scared and unsure of his new vampiric lifestyle, but all your questions will be answered, I swear. Btw, Palladin is aanother important character to this ending novel.
