Hi Jon and Sephina,

I'm hoping to get back to Selkie Tears soon. I just haven't had the time or the gumption to write lately. I've been quite down. Our one ten year old domestic longhair cat, Chi was killed about three weeks ago by our cat hating neighbors. It's a long story on how we know and we can't prove it. Being as we live in a pretty rural area, there isn't any strict enforcements on animals so we always let him, his brother and one other younger cat out in the morning for their potty break. Needless to say, we were very hard hit about it. It's just so sad, because he was like having a loyal dog around. Very companionable and now, he's gone. So depression set in. Not to mention just the business of life, ya know? My son, Patrick is trying to get through his second year of online school, 8th grade. He's seventeen now and should be a junior in high school but because of his disability and all the surgeries and major illness he went through, he's that far behind.

OMG! Look at me writing a book to post a message in the forum instead of writing on my chapters. LOL
