I agree. In my opinion though he was not forced to, more like the other way around. His parents wanted to hide him from all that happened around them. Sort of parental control, that did not come to Alber's liking. He escaped from his home and joined the army, at an early age. Perhaps fifteen. At that time he still did not know about his incredible intelligence and lightning magic. Not to mention that he could barely fight with a sword. His first fight he almost got killed, but with little luck and agility he was able to survive- the only one from his platoon to do so. Alber is quite a realist. He would be the one telling the truth, no matter if it may hurt someone. That is one of his really awkward oddities, not to mention that unlike most Krusniks he is considered to be a kind of a pedophile. He has a thing for young vampiresses. He would not feed on older vampiresses. Krusniks like him are said to love the still warm and humane blood, and are considered to be much closer to the vampirism state than most Krusniks. They are also hated for that and feared. Of course Alber thinks that if he is just being himself than he is not a danger to society. So I guess Helena should watch it, and Eliza should warn her about him. The Borderlands have awoken deep feelings in him. Feelings that he shut and locked in his soul decades ago. The Border lands will also work on both Helena's, Eliza's and Alber's hunger. Don't you think it should. Is it ok to make Helena and Alber talk alone incidentally and then let Eliza scold Helena for what she did. Of course tell her what could have happened if Alber was hungry, and actually tell her what Alber is. Also is it Ok to give Helena an old sword that belonged to a very good friend of Alber. Since she is the only one who seems not to be armed and is so young and inexperienced. You should know that I'm thinking of making Alber develop feelings for Helena. I don't know if these feelings should be only one-sided. I don't think Helena is the kind to fall for older guys, or maybe she is. What do you think?
