Um, I think that's okay with me. The Borderlands were where most of the fighting took place. Most of those areas don't even exist anymore, though. Things went wonky when the connection between the worlds was split apart to what it is now.

From the ages mentioned by Alber and Zor, those two most likely fought in the wars. It would be strange if they did know each other from back then, and I've been working under the assumption that they've only just now met (when Zor did the interrogation thing)

Vamps came into being during the time of the demon wars, so Alber can be only about 600 years old. The way I was thinking about that, would be that he fought in the wars as his human self -- before he was turned into a vampire. That would account for his magic.

Zor is an elemental and was around long before the wars started. He most likely fought from the very beginning.
