Reveiw: Crimson Cries Chapter Seventeen by DAwne Setting: Sevlow's plane and Palladin's house Terrific details in both places, I was actually there Characters: Sevlow--struck by DeNora's death, and in the full throes of grief Palladin, griving ove rthe murders of his family and wanting nothing more than revenge, in a high state of agitation that may lead to violence and death Spencer, wanting to help Palladin, still highly attracted, and often surprised by the wolf's actioins. Plot: Sevlow in his plane, stunned and outraged but in the throes of deep grief over DeNora's death--he still figures only one person could have done it. Daniella. He begins to plan revenge. Palladin and Spencer arrive at the castle, a crimes scene being combed over by the police though the bodies ahve been removed. Excellent desription here, including the gory details most violent crimes would leave behind. this was well done. As Palladin and Spencer talk, Palladin's greif becomes more and more defined, again well done. Palladin, being a werewolf, of course also wishes for revenge--who wouldn't--this was a slaughter--and Spencer, being Spencer, wants to comfort. The sexual attraction is apparent but not acted upon. Palladin's sensitivity is becoming more and more pronounced. I loved this. I odn't think I could have done these kind of emotions justice. Well written. Grammaticals: None noted Comment: This chapter had great emotional impact, nearly ahd me in tears by the end. I don't think I could have described these kinds of violent emotoin s as well as you brought them to life. I'm well aware of the so-called stages of grief but rarely does anyone address the part that inclueds anger and a need to blame soemone and exact revenge, especially in violent deaths such as these. I like emotional impact in my stories but you surpass my best efforts here. I'm not good at describing this kind of grief, or any kind, without resorting to melodrama but you managed it. Well written, my firend. I'm still getting a little moisture in my eyeballs.
