Hello my dear friends! How are you today? Thank you so much for your meassages and reviews Marlena, they are all so encouraging! The fifth assignment was a little difficult for me. I seem to find petry easier to read or write than to analyze... ![]() I have given it a try, of course, but I will need your help here. ![]() E.D.'s poem is amazing, I didn't know this one. This stanza is so modern, yet timeless at the same time. Faith is certainly the title and the journey here, but the interesting and puzzling metaphor is almost surreal in this context. To me, the topic or purpose seemed to be "seeing", "microscope" seemed to be the vehicle and the ending could be "invention" - the invention of men who look through the microscope. I am very interested in knowing your point of view on this... It's funny because I have a poem - one of the older items in my port - entitled "the naked eye". It's something about using a microscope and not being able to see. Not to be read after E.D.'s poetry, though! ![]() Love, ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
