A warm welcome to our newbies; come meet new and not-so-new members of Writing.Com! |
Hi there! I just joined writing.com, have very little knowledge on this site at all and I love to write and I figured this would be good practice. For a bit about me...hmmmm...well I love Collies for one thing. Most of my writing is based upon dogs, my inspiration for writing about dogs is definitely Marshall Saunders and Albert Payson Terhune. I'm a youngin who loves the oldies :D Errr...I always love a good comedy, not into romances or horror but a good one is never turned down. I mainly go for things with good reviews so I'm not wasting my time, so needless to say I am not that patient :) So, yeah, that's me, well, a bit of me. Thanks, collieluver AKA Kaeleigh ETA: A short piece that is not the best, but a work in progress. Her brown eyes that seemed to miss nothing watched the classes go through the hall. She saw him and she felt her stomach drop. He did that grin. Oh that grin! The grin that made her feel her knees buckle, but she just stood there. She noticed the texture, the colour and the shine of his hair, her heart melted. Then his voice. The voice that cracked a bit yet made her head float in happiness. He was an untouchable, a group of the best guys that no girl, unless on the girl untouchable list, could even think about. This girl, of course, was one of the ones absent from the list. Yet she was sure she loved him. She was just sure of it. |
