Noticing Newbies

Hello all newcomers. I have been on the site now for just under three months and it has been a positive experience. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit apprehensive about making my writing public. I was scared that my work would not be well received. My fears did not last long.

My advice to any of you that feel similar is simply put your worries to rest. This site was just what I needed. I have met some truly wonderful, supportive, and encouraging people here. My work has been noticed, as the two examples below will show.
