Noticing Newbies

Welcome to WDC! I'm sure that you will quickly find your way about the site, and you'll love it here. Meeting everyone is a little difficult (given the thousands of writers on here, lol) but you'll certainly meet a lot of new friends!

Has anyone told you about the Angel army? It's a group, one of the biggest on the site in fact, that helps bring newbies and oldies together. You can find a mentor, incentives for reviews, people to review your work, contests and competitions...the list is endless, and it's a lot of fun! The link is

Or another option is the smaller, more intimate Used to Be Newbies group. There are fewer people so it's easier to get to know everyone, and we run competitions, contests, a mentor system etc. as well. The link is

Other than that, if you head to the Getting Started page on this site and read through those it helps a lot. And the user resources on this Noticing Newbies page. Those two should tell you everything you need to know at the start, and then you can have fun discovering stuff as you go!
