Noticing Newbies

Hey all! I'm new to Writing.com, but am loving the site already. I have been writing off and on all my life. Once I had my son, well he took precedence. I'm sure all of you know how life works. Our passions become an after thought.
I have always been the creative sort. I love art, just about any medium. I'm picking up sculpture again. Although I've done just about every thing artistic, I think writing has always been a part of what makes me me. I don't know just how good I am, but I love it. It is the one place I can go to get away from everything realistic. I can imagine myself in a new world when I'm writing.
Anyhow, I'd love to hear your feedback. That's my favorite part of this site.
