Many thanks! Here I thought I'd sucked all those passive voice demons out and there they are! I'll fix them soon.

I'm wondering if the addition of explicit sex scenes would enhance this story. It's tricky because, as you point out, I want the reader to wonder if Ondine (they un-named nymph) is real or memorex. There's no doubt about the tacky reality of the drug dealer, though.
