We like it hot and sexy! |
For me, it's all in the strength of the writing, Tim. I find "men" erotica writers do away with the "fluff" and romance that women tend to include in their writing. Not to say that this is bad, because it's not. Men just get to the heart of the matter far quicker. I reiterate here that it's all in the power of the writing. You may not want to know what the guy is looking at, or how important it may seem, but it's what happens after that pulls it all together. So for me, it's these little things I find very important. About POV, I try to give a reader both in alternating chapters, so they become intimately closer to my characters (okay, the key word here is "try). As well, inner thoughts can achieve this too. Make you characters come alive to your reader, and if giving one POV works, so be it. Just my two cents, mind you.
