Noticing Newbies

Hey there, my name is Alicia. I am sooooo glad I found this site. It is really inspiring to read what other people write and to get feedback from others. I absolutely love everyone on this site...seriously they are all so talented and sweet. I'd like to introduce myself. I am 23 years old and have been writing since I was elementary. I was in the fifth grade when I wrote my first story...which was an impressive four or five pages long..front and back. I think I intended it to be a children's book..though sadly I never actually got it published. Would've made for a great story...to think a little fifth grader walking around being published. My dream had always been to be the youngest author ever, unfortuantely I'm already 23 and haven't had anything published...well except for my poems. I try to write everyday and have an interest in testing my writing skills by writing about anything. I don't think I could master the sci-fi genre. I would have no clue where to start...guess one day I'll get an idea. I find short stories a great interest...you put so much in so few words and you can read it in one sitting...I love to be able to read something in an hour or two..though it only takes me two maybe three days to finish a book..if I'm interested in it.

Okay I think I've said enough....just wanted to say how much I am enjoying this site and maybe give you an insight to exactly WHO I am. Ha. Everyone keep writing...keep up the great work! I sign in almost everyday to see what new stories are available. If you have any stories you'd like me to read just say so! I'd be glad to read them.
