Hi, I came to your port because of the quote in your signature. I am not a teacher but I have 9.3 grandchildren all under 12. I have recently taken up the hobby of drawing. My 10 year-old grandson needed a book from a reading list. (there were only a few on the list that he hadn't already read. So we went to Barnes and Noble to purchase a book for his private library. I bought for myself an artists guide to skills and techniques. He was flipping through the pages as I drove home. Then he said, "Grandma, don't get discouraged if you can't draw right away. I've been drawing for four years and there are things I still need to learn."
