Notification
Intermeshed
Bias
Turbulent
Slump
Culprit

They are
Two people so intermeshed
That you can't tell
Where one leaves off
And the other begins.
There's no notification
When you get to the end
Of the relationship.
Every bias
Is their bias in unison.
Every slump
Brings them both down.
It's hard to imagine
Either one
Traveling independently
Through turbulent times.

Probably
The therapeutic mafia
Would call this co-dependence
And hand them a half dozen
Self-help manuals
Or offer them couples
Counseling
To fix the problem,
Find the culprit,
Force them both
To stand together
Alone.
