Hey LB *Smile*

Amira Press is run by a couple people here on writing.com. They are currently actively recruiting for content for their company. Which means, like many new e-publishers, they are looking for quantity at this moment. They want to fill up their catalogue as quickly as possible so distributors will see a publisher worth hooking up with. This has nothing to do with whether or not they will be a quality publisher. They might turn out to be the next Ellora's Cave...or not.

E-pubs rely on their authors to promote their own work. That's why you get 35% in roylaties vs. 15% from the traditional publishers.

If you think the work deserves more work, do it! Otherwise, you will be selling the rights to that work and you won't be able to do what you want to do with it for possibly years. It's up to you! It is flattering that they are approaching you, just don't sell until you are ready to.

I know...not much help. Good luck *Smile* It's the best that I can offer.
