Hello,

Please can you review my work and give me an honest opinion and some suggestions. It's the first three chapters of a novel I'm working on, so there may be some areas that don't completely make sense because they'll be revealed later, but anything you can offer in the way of advice would be appreciated.

I recently received a review saying that the second chapter was a little confusing and that if I cleared that up then it would probably read rather well. Surprisingly, that was of no help whatsoever. I'm after details - where I'm going wrong, what works etc, not a pat on the head and "well done."

So if you can pull this apart and be as picky as you like, I would really appreciate it. I'm not fragile, I can take it!
