Hideous Reviews I Never Gave

I just ran into someone else who thinks breaking sentences into fragments, spreading them on a page, and omitting punctuation creates poetry. No, it doesn't. It's still crappy prose. It's annoying and it's boring. True poetry can be put on the page just like prose, and still read as poetry.

Witness: "How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height my soul can can reach." I may be mis-quoting, as I can't find my Dickenson, but you get the idea.

Take a class, bozo! Learn the difference between prose and poetry. I don't think you can write either, but at least the teacher will make a little money; and it will give you less time to spend here.
