My character has accidie er, she doesn't have it yet but Mr. Demon guy will be sure to make her have it. It's like depression/loneliness/dejection. Basically, I'm taking a strong willed woman that thinks she needs no one, no man, no other people in her life and is content to be alone (following that accidie is supposed to happen to people that are isolated) and I'm gonna make being alone unbearable for her once she meets up with sexy Val.

Nothing will matter or be good enough. She'll be real down. She'll fight it, she'll do dirty deeds with him whenever he appears at midday (as the legend of accidie says: that's the time it is the strongest) and in the end, she'll give in to her depression.

This is a great idea. The trick for me is to substitute something other than religion in her life as religion, but as I was driving home from errands, it all came clear. If only I could type faster.

To me, the sex has to bring about the change, has to make her fall into this sin. But that's my take. That will be her character growth.

I'm fine with the prologue. It's dirty. It's nasty and Mr. Demon is tired of it. He wants something more interesting.
