Greatest Lead Guitarists

Hi guys, thanks for your suggestions. As for Green Day and U2, to be honest, I don't think their stuff qualifies as 'best guitar'. Don't get me wrong, I really like both of them. (Though with U2, mostly the older stuff) But I wouldn't raise the lead guitarists above the 'good' category... maybe very good. But not "great"... I know i know *waiting for the tomato throwing*, but that's my opinion.

As for Slash... yeaaaaaaaaaa, not only amazing technique, but the way his solos 'blend' into the song, or the amount of modes he can put into a single song... simply great :)

(and I've seen him LIVE... Wooo hoooo :)
