Hermes Academy Plot Development

I just thought I'd pass along the bio I had wrote up for Chaunecy just to be able to keep track of writing for her. So I have an idea in my head and thought it might be a good idea to give you all a general idea of who Chaunecy is since I didn't really get into it much in my first addition. I will get more into her description in following additions of course, but thought it might be good for everyone to know what I see her as being like ect...



Name: Chaunecy (Shawn -ah -sea) Necia (Knee -sea -ah)
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 25

Appearance: Chaunecy has a slender build to her; she stands to 5’2” with a soft and feminine face and slightly tanned complexion. Her eyes are large and round and hold a blue gray hue. Her hair is black with hints of red and falls in curls to her cheekbones that she sometimes pulls up into pigtails. People have always thought she was much younger than she is, right now the general thought is ten years. She loves tall boots and skirts, be them long or short, and long jackets and varying tops. Mostly colors like green, brown, and blue. Only owns two pairs of jeans and they’re rather old, but look almost new, she hardly ever wares them.

Personality: Chaunecy tends to be out going and loves to have fun. Will dance around and sing not caring what anyone else thinks of her, even when she is working on something. The only times she is quiet and fully focused is when she is having a hard time figuring something out or imputing an answer but it doesn’t last long because being a bit crazy helps her think. She loves puzzles, but isn’t really one for competition, her way of going about things tends to irritate her opponent. While she is out going, Chaunecy isn’t very vocal about herself and her feelings; emotions are something she is very closed about.


Other: Chaunecy has never been able to sleep very well, waking up at least once every night after having a nightmare about an accident involving her family, not that she truly remembers any of it. She often wonders if it is actually a suppressed memory of a ten year old or just a dream. She has no actual memory of her family, but the dream always brings her to tears and makes her wonder where her brother has gone off to. Since, in the dream, only her parents died. Although, if the dream were true, it might explain her hate of technology, since in the end, that was what had caused the death of her parents.

Despises technology, hates just about everything about the world around her. She would much rather see or touch something real then something virtual. Loves learning about ancient history, back to times when life wasn’t as mechanized as it is today. Her specialty is more focused on the history and culture of worlds and the life that’s occupying it rather than the machines that are there. Even though she hates the technology around her she is good with it, loves to solve puzzles, which makes her good at figuring things out. Good with languages, but most of the ones she focuses on are no longer in use. She adores music and is competent at many instruments; music helps her focus therefore more times than not music is playing when she is around. It’s one of the few technological advances that she does like, portable music.

She has been at the Academy since she can remember and knows nothing else. The only link to a life before the Academy that she can remember is that horrible dream, everything else is non-existent.

Chaunecy believes that she is fully human, although having always looked between 3-10 years younger than her actual age (the younger she was the less of a difference that could be seen) some believe she might be of some type of mixed blood, although no one knows her lineage, not even herself.

NOTES: No one other than Chaunecy knows about the dream or her past before the Academy. She doesn't talk about it much, if at all. Also, no one has ever really made a comment to her on how she always manages to look so young and the thought that she might not actually be completely Human. Chaunecy herself does not think she has anything but Human blood within her.
