Noticing Newbies

Hello to all. Just thought I'd pop in and introduce myself. I'm 20 years old and used to really enjoy writing. But life and reality kept me from writing the past several years. I'm really looking forward to starting again. And it'd be really great getting some input from more experienced writers.

Right now I'm just plotting out a new story which probably won't be up for a while. (My stories tend to get very long and intricate...bout the size of a short novel). For now I decided to post up a poem I wrote about a year ago. Nothing big, just something I kinda scribbled together in a moment of deep contemplation. Feedback, words of encouragement and constructive criticism are all very welcome. =)

Hoping that hopping around this community will help get me out this writers block that's been plaguing me the past several years. I really look forward to meeting fellow writers/readers like you ;D
