Forum for the group aspiring authors!! |
Ok, i find myself wanting to say someting of value. Hopefully below i do. These at least reflect my experiences so far. There are alot of neat things here- groups around various themes, people to review and try to help out, contests, raffles, campfires and by getting involved with them I think you will find people willing to work with you. Perfect people no, but some willing people and all of us operating within the confines of available time and interest. I know that writing.com is a diverse group.. so everyone will not fit together perfectly. Not everyone buys science fiction, romance, religous novels, historical fiction, etc. Some of us are offended by one thing, and some by another. True in the real world to. Just so you know, I did try to use the passkey you mentioned at one point.. but for some reason i couldn't see anything... I don't know why.. BUT I really did try... multiple times in fact. I am fairly new myself to this site so I figured it was me. Willing to try again as a matter of a fact. Thought to consider: You also have the ability to set your writing so that only people in a given group .. like this one can see it... that might be a better way to do it... no pass key required. Soooo.. whether you stay or whather you go... good luck on your writing efforts... Perhaps if you skip the rest, please take this--- I want you and us (draw big circle) to succeed as writers. Can I tell you exactly how to do that? Sorry, probably not. Its really the learning experience of a lifteimte i figure. But who knows maybe there is an Earnest Hemmingway, Tolkien, T S Elliott, or Jane Austin among us. The world can never have too many writers in my opionion. Maybe somewhere along the way i'll manage to say something that helps a writer succeed.. well worth it in my opionion. Not to mention the hope that I'll manage to succeed myself. Like some of my stories... lol.. I also take too long to say stuff sometimes... sorry about that. (A dogs tail thumps in agreement behind my computer chair). Now i gotta get back to fitting in a porcupine, turkey, and an odd uncle ned (plus a few other ingredients) for todays writers cramp prompt. And i hope to write What Love Began - Part IV.... sigh... I both love writing and wish I could write quality stuff faster :) (Not to mention real life activies) Good luck to one and all! Let the writing continue... Sigma Out. |
