Blog for Grown Folks
What makes you read an item?
Clip art and sigs
These three items suggest you're well-rounded. You blog, editorialize, and create or house artwork. While well-rounded is good but too much is predictable. If you roll a perfectly shaped marble across a flat surface, it doesn't take too a lot to determine which way it's going to roll. What about a flawed marble? A marble with a flat side? It may appear at first to be predictable but soon it's heading off in one different direction after another.
Sometimes it's better to be like that perfectly shaped marble and sometimes it's better to be more like it's flawed cousin. When it comes to creativity, go for the flaws. Expose your writing flaws and flatspots to the world and you'll be amazed and energized by where you end up.
“Opportunity…often it comes in the form of misfortune, or temporary defeat.”
