Yes, yes you are. By the way, any of you noticed those new adverts by... I can't remember. Some skin cream company. Might be L'Oreal or something, I think. Whatever. Anyway, opens with this guy looking all smug and handsome, and the Voice says 'You think you look distinguished, but SHE thinks you look overworked'. It's HILARIOUS! Woman walks past (she's good-looking, skinny, whtaever) and she isn't too impressed. And then the Voice goes on to outline how this new cream will stop wrinkles and tired-looking skin. I swear to God, everytime I see it, I nearly piss myself. While the women's adverts have tried to become more PC thanks to feminist ravings, the men's adverts are doing what adverts could do only fifty years ago. I mean, maybe it's just because I'm so used to seeing the women-targeted adverts, but I CANNOT imagine a Voice saying 'You think you look beautiful, but HE thinks you look overworked' without it getting slagged off left, right and centre. Thank fuck for progress and egalitarian society. Now both men and women have the right to get anorexia and fear of the inevitable ageing process. ** Image ID #1005154 Unavailable ** ~~Image #1105299 Sharing Restricted~~ ** Image ID #1100786 Unavailable ** |
