One book on Peru. Was given a the cash upfront to go down the Amazon on a Medical Missionary boat to the Rio Nany then the smaller tributaries from there into villages where outsiders never wanted to 'bother' with (nothing of value. B'sides any Columbia promoters of wrong were often chased bloodied from these villages by the MOTHERS).

The second jumps back and forth from just before WWll to the present. Centers around a small town and a family going through challenges, and the idea of where one calls home. One is recovering from an unexpected death, one trying to protect a child, and how choices thought hidden can effect changes within a community.

The third is long-ranged. A compilation of short stories most true and a bit of poetry.
