On the Rejected Writer (and Miss Snark)
I just made my weekly visit to Miss Snark's blog (http://misssnark.blogspot.com/). While there, I stumbled across an old post that contained a url for a short film about a writer's reaction to a courteous, if bland, rejection letter. The film is r-rated for some profanity, but its the funniest thing I've seen in a while. (it also very much reminds me of several novelists I've met over the years.)

(Reminder, if you're offended by profanity, don't go. It's not that the film is one long string of expletive deleted's but the language IS central to the writer's reaction during the final seconds of the film. )

And if you don't know about Miss Snark, you're missing out on a very witty lady. She runs an New York literary agency by day and stalks gin bottles by night....ermm, I mean she dispenses writing advice to the unwashed masses with the able assistance of her talking dog, Killer Yapper. (Did I mention her fondness for gin?) Check her out. She's snarkolicious!
