The SLAM! Green Room

Hi all. I'm just online for a bit in between writing my thesis, and then I saw the SLAM was on, and I thought, I have to go...and so I am being sucked into the whirlwind...and a new prompt, which has lots of rhyming (as I've seen by the questions and answers here) but I was just wondering...(deep breath)

Does meter matter?
