The city on the lakefront
Very beautiful and great
Stays alive in bad weather
Heat or snow how severe
Everyday from union station
Walked to work by Michigan
Corporate offices, skyscrapers
Normal business, Bulls & Bears
Busy streets, rush time scene,
Superb stores, magnificent lane
Traffic jams, on highway far
Bustling crowd goes around
Chicago filled with lively air
Night life dances other band
Lakefront offers so much fun
Beaches, clubs and restaurants
Old and young can enjoy sun
Parks and boating, amusements
Long summer days, gracious lake
Park and beaches full with people
Enjoy and forget the winter blue
Refreshing city; melting a pot new.
